" Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church: Reaching the harvest in Muskegon, Michigan, and the world...one soul at a time. "
Lost and wandering, seeking their place, and looking for love and friendship. So many people all around us fit into this category. Abundant Life UPC's desire is to carry out the commission of Jesus to this lost and hungry world...to love our fellow man (Matt. 22:37-39). This is the harvest for which we at Abundant Life are seeking to gleen; souls desiring the healing and happiness that only salvation can bring!

Those that seek to be filled of God are many (Matt. 9:37-38) and it is our prayer that they be reached, "For this promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." (Acts 2:39)

Diversity and Oneness in the Church
The Bible teaches that every human being is of equal worth in the sight of God. God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34; Romans 2:11). The church has diversity of members but is one body; by one Spirit we are all baptized into one body (I Corinthians 12:12-13).

In Christ, there is no unequal treatment based on race, social class, gender, religious background, or national origin. “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28). “There is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bond, nor free: but Christ is all, and in all” (Colossians 3:11).... Abundant Life's Prayer This Year

Pastor Ronald Prather

Lord Jesus, help us to truly know You!
"(10)That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death." - Phillipians:3:10-13

Some of the Ways We Can Know God

  • Have a heart for prayer. The best type of prayer is listening to what Jesus has to say to you.
  • Be diligent in reading His word. (John 5:39; 2 Timothy 2:15; 2 Timothy 3:16
  • Let the Holy Spirit renew your heart and mind daily. (Romans 12:2)
  • Surrender to God and let Him lead you. (James 4:7; Job 22:21)
  • With the help of the Holy Spirit, live a life separate from sin. (1 John 1:5-7)
  • Show love to others. (Jojhn 13:34-35; Hebrews 13:1-2)
